When you signal to change lanes, Blind-Spot Monitoring warns you with an audible alert and a visual icon on the side view mirror if there’s a vehicle in your blind-spot area.

Rear Cross-Path Detection will sound an alert if it detects a vehicle or pedestrian crossing your path when you’re backing up.
 

Keeping an Eye on What’s Ahead

Available Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop helps you maintain a safe cruising distance from the traffic ahead of you.

Once you set the desired speed and distance between you and the vehicle ahead, this radar-supported system monitors the distance and will automatically reduce your speed if you start to get too close. The system will return to your pre-set cruising speed only when the distance permits.

At low speeds, this system can also help your Gladiator to come to a full stop.
 

Detect Vehicles Ahead

Stay alert and in control with this available active safety system. Applying advanced radar and camera technology, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking can detect whether you are approaching another vehicle or a large obstacle too rapidly.
The system warns of a possible impact with an audible and visual alert along with 1.5 seconds of brake assistance, if the driver does not react in time. In certain circumstances, the vehicle will be brought to a full stop.
